Birch Cabin is a lovely, private, spacious house with a large deck and two screened-in porches overlooking Rainbow Lake. It features a modern kitchen, a dining area, a living room with a woodstove set in a fieldstone fireplace, and a half-log staircase. There is a full bath, a bedroom with two twin beds, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer downstairs. Upstairs has another bedroom with two twin beds, a full bath with separate tub and shower, and a large master bedroom featuring a queen-sized bed. Off the master bedroom is a screened-in porch overlooking the lake. Maximum capacity is six persons.
The boathouse has upper and lower decks for swimming, fishing, and sunning. The upper level of the boathouse has couches for lounging, a table and chairs, and a ping-pong table. The lower deck, equipped with Adirondack chairs, is a perfect reading or fishing spot, bathed in sunlight almost all day.
Nearby, the afternoon beach features shallow wading, a floating water trampoline, and sunlight from mid-day until sunset. Early risers may want to walk around the point to the morning beach to catch a sunrise or enjoy a morning dip. A variety of complimentary canoes and kayaks are available for exploring the lake.
